Well, we made it out again...But there's a bigger story. ....On February 28th my apartment was broken into and I lost my cameras, my laptop, my beloved and very valuable watch collection ...and the weasel even used my firesuit bag to steal it all...The hurt and upset this has caused me is beyond description...But, as always..there is a bright side...
I am moving back home to Florida in April...Job & Apartment are lined up...and I'm currently packing for the big move.
I told Dawn that I would like to go out to the track here 1 last time before the move...Kind of a goodbye party and final blast. I was so thrilled when my good friend and crew chief Kaleo was well enough to come out. Kaleo has been very ill and is in the fight of his life. He has been a great friend and a blessing or my team. I pray with all my heart he beats this.
Mark couldnt attend abut we had great help. Ivan, one of our shop guys came out was a huge help. Kaleo brought his son out and we had all the help we needed.
I even managed to get the car loaded and to the track early...good thing because my chassis was out of certification by a week...a mere 200 bucks later we were good to go....except it didn't want to go .... We still have a timing issue that plagued us again
Only 1 pass and at it was a sub-par 9.9 @ 137mph...
We packed it up and called it a day......
